Up until last night the worst movie I had ever seen was George Clooney's Solaris. Last night we watched Southland Tales and it was BAD, really Bad. I rented it mostly because it had Justin Timberlake in it, but also because it had The Rock, Sean William Scott, Sarah Michele Geller, and Amy Poehler among several others we were soon to find out. I can't even begin to tell you what the movie was about. Early on I said to Doug, "Do you have any idea what's going on?" His response, "No". There were two positives for me in the movie that might make it better than Solaris and they are Justin narrated the whole movie which means I got to hear his voice ALOT, and I bought Justin as a crazy weirdo, so his acting was good. However, those two positives don't outweigh the bad and the worst thing was, it was 160 minutes long, 160 minutes. After I woke up from my nap, I thought "great it must be almost over now" 15, 20, 30 minutes go by, and I say outloud "Is this movie EVER going to end?" I have no idea what the movie was about and I couldn't even begin to tell you what happened in the movie other than half way through it broke into a music video with Justin's character and I laughed out loud. I think if I ever meet Justin I'm going to ask him "Come on, be honest, did you really have any idea what was going on in that movie?"

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to Poker, tomorrow my plans include RIT Hockey and Sunday, I want to watch RIT win the Atlantic Hockey Tournanment and get an automatic bid to the NCAA tourney! I was reading one of my scrapbooking message boards and I came across a thread that really made me stop and think. "What gets you through the day..week...month? We all have things we enjoy. Just curious as to what everyone needs to keep things rolling." Here's what I came up with. The things that get me through are (In no particular order, just what came to me): - Playing and laughing with my daughter - Watching my favorite TV shows and movies (I'm somewhat of a pop culture junkie) Even more so watching them WITH my hubbie. - Music definitely, especially when I'm at work. My Itouch gets me through the day. - Guitar Hero 3 - My comfy clothes: The clothes I only wear around the house. - The 5 or 10 minute calls I get from my brother to discuss some tidbit of sports or music information. I really look forward to those calls. - Friday poker nights - My dog: spending just a few minutes with her and all the stress just melts away. - Knowing my Mom and Dad are just a phone call away. - photography and scrapbooking - My computer: it keeps me in touch with my long distance friends and family and keeps me always learning. I feel a layout brewing....

3. I woke up today and thought Yeah it's Friday!
4. Why does every additional fun feature have to cost more.
5. The last thing I ate was blueberries.
6. January... one month closer to summer.

6. The most recent movie I’ve seen that I really enjoyed was hmmm, this is a tough call, I enjoy most movies I see, so I guess I just list the most recent movie I've watched which was Music and Lyrics.
